D Smith Express currently operates a versatile fleet of crane vehicles, 14 vehicles fitted with Lorry Loader (Hiab) cranes.
We have all sizes from a small 7.5 toner, Various Short Wheel Base rigid vehicles capable of pulling a drawbar trailer to an Artic with an extendable trailer capable of moving loads up to 60 feet long.
These vehicles are fitted with Cranes ranging from 19 – 80 Ton/Metre with a range of up to 25 metres some with front legs fitted enabling them to carry out full lifting duties over the cab in tight and restricted areas.
We also have Fly Jib equipped vehicles with additional booms allowing us to place goods materials on at long radius, for example on roof tops.
These high specification lorry loaders are strong, compact, powerful and rapid, often replacing the need for a mobile crane which generally need road closures and a lot more notice without the benefit of being able to transport any goods to site.
All are available on a spot hire or contract basis for the specialist transportation of containers, cabins, generators, plant and machinery throughout the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
